“Our grandson, age 3, loves to act out things he sees in YouTube videos. So he asked for a camera and we got this for him. He had no trouble using it with no help at all (he already navigates Gizmo, iPad, Amazon Fire, and Apple TV with ease). He loves to take pictures! "Say cheese" he says. He loves the flip-back lens to take selfies. He can flip through his pics and play the silly sounds. I can import them into a Mac mini with no trouble and then show them on the big TV to his delight. He has access to the camera without asking permission so it gets bounced around plenty and is doing fine. He loves using the tripod and the camera also fits a standard tripod fine. I got a microSD chip for it which didn't cost much so he can shoot shoot shoot. I rated picture quality a 5 because this is an inexpensive kid's camera and quality is fine for that.”

“Pros: Can do both video and photos. Selfie and regular front facing modes. 22 great green screen animations (make sure you have lots of light in the room. My kids also like to see if any of their green/teal shirts act as green screens too). Fun photo frames. Button controls are easy to use (with volume control!). Tripod works great (removable). Games are fun (and can be turned off by the parent!). Cons: Short battery life. Doesn't come with a memory card. Bottom line: A great video and photo camera for kids, call VTech directly for any warranty issues.”

“Each of my 4 smaller children has one of these cameras. I bought three last year for the holidays for them and my oldest of the 4 decided he wanted one this year so I made another purchase for one. My children are ages 6-8-9-and 10. We are a low media family and none of my children have phones, tablets, or anything like it. The cameras are and have been a huge hit here. They have played with these cameras nearly every day for a year now. They really enjoy making funny videos of each other. The phone looks and is high quality, Super easy to use, VERY durable, and the battery life is wonderful. My children have dropped these cameras countless times. Some of them have been left outside overnight and once in the rain. I thought the camera left in the rain was a goner, nope! That thing is still working like new. The camera looks cool. Image quality is great. The only con I can recall is the video recording time. I wish it recorded longer videos.”
