We're parents who spend too much time reading toy reviews so you don't have to. Every guide is organized by age or interest, with picks based on what actually gets played with, not just what's trending this week.

How we choose what goes in a guide

• Every product we link to is a real, currently listed item on Amazon. We check the actual product page before it goes into a guide, not just a description someone sent us.
• We read through the real customer reviews on Amazon for age-fit, durability, and common complaints, and we write those complaints into the guide instead of hiding them. If something breaks easily or runs small, we say so.
• We compare products against others in the same category before ranking them, using the same criteria every time for a given age group or interest: safety for the stated age range, how long it tends to hold a kid's attention, and build quality.
• We don't take payment from any brand to be featured or ranked higher. Our only revenue is the standard Amazon Associates commission on purchases made through our links, at no extra cost to you.
• Guides get revisited and updated over time, not just published once and left alone. The "Updated" date on each guide reflects an actual content change.
