“Goku has never looked better as a figure! Now before I continue, I need to mention that this was my second purchase. The first one I had to return due to a loose arm that kept falling off. I wanted to get that out of the way for posterity. With that said, I love this figure. The overall shape and profile, combined with the newly improved articulation is easily the best that S.H.Figuarts has produced so far, particularly for Dragon Ball. The paint job is wonderful, improvements to all the joints are a dream, the new torso flexibility is incredible, and the face sculpts are immaculate. Some of the best they've ever produced for any DBZ character yet. Overall, the new 4.0 body is the best in the series. The only negative I would give this figure is that the new flexibility in the head and neck joint, creates some difficulty when swapping out the headpieces. But that's a minor gripe in the grand scheme. If you're a collector, don't skip this one!”

“I love it, but I just have a few QC issues like how the chest is a little loose, and the toe pivot is a little loose too. I'd say the two most annoying things about it are how the faces don't go fully on the extra head sculpt without a lot of force and how there's a gap in the chest when you move it. But other than those it's a pretty good figure, the posing is good, and the looks of it are just amazing, especially compared to the older ssj Goku. I would recommend if you're a big fan of Dragon ball and SHF, but if not, I say you could pass on it.”
