Monopoly Peanuts Board Game, Play as Snoopy on Sled, Baseball Cap, Kite Eating Tree & More, Officially Licensed and Collectible Monopoly Game Based On The Famous Comic Strip Peanuts

4.7 · 232 reviews

Monopoly Peanuts swaps the standard streets and railroads for Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the whole Peanuts gang, wrapping the classic Monopoly ruleset in a fully re-themed board built around the comic strip's best-loved seasonal moments, from Trick or Treat to decorating the tree. Six custom-sculpted tokens, including Snoopy riding his doghouse like a sled and the infamous kite-eating tree, plus renamed cards and pieces throughout the board, make this an officially licensed collector's edition as much as a game night pick for Peanuts fans across generations.

About Monopoly Peanuts Board Game, Play as Snoopy on Sled, Baseball Cap, Kite Eating Tree & More, Officially Licensed and Collectible Monopoly Game Based On The Famous Comic Strip Peanuts

At its core, Monopoly Peanuts is still the Monopoly everyone already knows how to play. Buy properties, collect rent, build up your holdings, trade your way out of a tight spot, and try to be the last player standing with money on the table. What USAOPOLY has done here is dress that same ruleset in a genuinely detailed Peanuts costume, not just a new box cover, so the license shows up in the pieces you actually touch every turn.

The theming goes deeper than most licensed reskins bother with. The board trades standard Monopoly streets for seasonal Peanuts moments pulled straight from the strip and its animated specials: Trick or Treat, Wrap Gifts, Decorate the Tree, Give Thanks, Play Baseball. Chance cards are renamed AUGH!, Community Chest becomes Good Grief!, houses turn into Bird Nests, and hotels become Dog Houses. The six sculpted tokens, especially Snoopy riding his doghouse like a sled and the kite-eating tree, are the kind of detail that reward someone who actually knows the comic strip, not just the general Peanuts brand.

This is a strong fit for Peanuts fans age 8 and up across generations, parents who grew up with the strip now sharing it with their own kids, families looking for a themed game night option once everyone's old enough for the standard Monopoly ruleset and runtime, and collectors who are as happy displaying the set as playing it, given how it's marketed as a collector's edition first.

The Honest Take

What We Like and What We Don't

What we like

  • Genuinely detailed Peanuts theming, not a surface-level reskin: six custom-sculpted tokens tied to specific comic strip and holiday-special moments
  • Every classic Monopoly piece gets a Peanuts-specific rename (Chance, Community Chest, houses, hotels), so the theme carries through the whole game
  • Keeps the familiar standard Monopoly ruleset underneath, so anyone who already knows how to play can jump straight in
  • Strong overall reception, with the large majority of reviewers leaving five stars, including repeat mentions of it being a hit as a gift
  • Doubles as a display-worthy collectible for Peanuts fans who want it on a shelf as much as on the table

What holds it back

  • At least one verified buyer received a box missing game pieces and had to return it, so it's worth a quick component check right after opening
  • Still a full-length game of Monopoly under the new theme, 60-plus minutes with the standard trading and banking rules, not a quick 20-30 minute option
  • Built around ages 8 and up, so it is not the right pick if you are hoping a younger sibling can join in

Is This For You?

Who Should (and Shouldn't) Buy This

Get it if…

Get it if you or the giftee are genuine Peanuts fans age 8 and up who already enjoy classic Monopoly and want a themed, display-worthy set with real attention paid to comic strip details, whether that is for family game nights, a collector's shelf, or a Charlie Brown-loving grownup on your gift list.

Skip it if…

Skip it if you are shopping for a child under 8, need something that wraps up in 20 to 30 minutes, or you have been burned before by Monopoly's long playtime and trading disputes, since this edition keeps that same classic ruleset and runtime under a new coat of Peanuts paint.

The verdict

Monopoly Peanuts earns its keep as a themed edition rather than a reskin in name only: the seasonal Peanuts moments, custom tokens, and renamed pieces show real attention to the source material, and reviewers overwhelmingly back that up. It is best suited to Peanuts fans age 8 and up, whether that is a family game night pick once the kids are old enough for standard Monopoly's pace, or a gift for the grownup Charlie Brown fan in your life. Just note the occasional quality control slip reported by at least one buyer, and go in expecting the same full Monopoly runtime the classic version has always had.

Super cute Monopoly board. Who doesn't love the Peanuts gang?!

United States

3.0

I bought this Monopoly Peanuts Board Game as a birthday gift for my daughter because she loves Snoopy, and we were all excited to play it on her birthday. Unfortunately, when we opened the box, we found that some of the game pieces were missing. It was really disappointing. Other than that, the game itself looks fun and the design is adorable, so I believe we were just unlucky with a quality control issue.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many players does Monopoly Peanuts support, and how long does a game take?

The manufacturer lists it for 2 to 6 players with a typical playtime of 60 minutes or more, in line with a standard game of Monopoly.

What age is Monopoly Peanuts recommended for?

USAOPOLY lists this edition for ages 8 and up. The box also carries a standard small-parts choking hazard warning noting it isn't intended for children under 3, which is boilerplate safety language rather than the actual target age, so treat 8 and up as the real guideline for who should be playing.

Does Monopoly Peanuts play differently from classic Monopoly?

No, the underlying rules are the standard Monopoly ruleset: buying, selling, trading properties, collecting rent, and building up your holdings. What changes is the theme, six custom Peanuts-sculpted tokens, board spaces built around the comic strip's seasonal moments, and renamed pieces like AUGH! Chance cards, Good Grief! Community Chest cards, Bird Nest houses, and Dog House hotels.
